1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using gozorides.com or booking a tour with Gozo Rides, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Company Information
Gozo Rides is a guided quad bike tour company based in Gozo, Malta. For our registered business details, please contact us directly.
3. Booking and Payment
- All prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment or deposit as required.
- We accept payment via the methods listed on our booking page.
- A valid booking confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- More than 48 hours before tour: Full refund
- 24–48 hours before tour: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before tour: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Gozo Rides reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient participant numbers. In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
5. Requirements for Riders
- All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence.
- Passengers must meet the minimum age requirement specified at the time of booking.
- All participants must attend a mandatory safety briefing before the tour begins.
- Helmets are compulsory and will be provided.
6. Safety and Conduct
- Participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times and stay on designated routes.
- Operating a quad bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Reckless, careless, or dangerous riding is not tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the tour without refund.
- Speed limits and route restrictions must be observed at all times.
7. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Quad biking is an adventure activity that carries inherent risks, including the possibility of injury or death. By participating in a Gozo Rides tour, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks.
Gozo Rides carries appropriate insurance for its operations. However:
- Participants are responsible for any damage to the quad bike caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.
- Gozo Rides is not liable for personal injury, death, or property damage except where caused by our proven negligence.
- An optional damage waiver may be available at the time of booking — details will be provided on site.
8. Health and Fitness
Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely participate, including but not limited to: back or neck problems, heart conditions, epilepsy, pregnancy, or recent surgery. Gozo Rides reserves the right to refuse participation on medical or safety grounds.
9. Website Use
- All content on gozorides.com (text, images, logos) is the property of Gozo Rides and may not be reproduced without written permission.
- We strive to keep pricing and tour information accurate but reserve the right to change details without prior notice.
- We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from our site.
10. Privacy
Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
